Le Nid d’Écureuil

Le Nid d’Écureuil (the Squirrel Nest), wheelchair adapted holiday home. 
Situated in Burgundy on the edge of the beautiful Morvan regional park, we offer you a holiday home of 73 square meters that is fully wheelchair accessible.



This house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a living- and dining area with a kitchen that is equipped with an electric hob, refrigerator, oven/microwave and dishwasher. There are also an electric kettle, a coffee machine and a food processor at your disposal.

The french doors in the living room open up to a large terrace where you can enjoy the sense of being immersed in nature with a view on the forest and the river Yonne below you. The terrace has a table and chairs for outdoor dining.

 
The house is also equipped with a washer/dryer combination and you can use free WiFi.  

Adaptations:

The bathroom has a support between the toilet and the lowered sink and a support on the wall in the roll-in / walk-in shower. The shower is spacious enough for two people in case help is needed with washing. there is a shower- and toilet chair available. 

The main bedroom has a double medical high-low bed which can be equipped with a trapeze bar attachment and bed guards according to your needs. Additionally we can rent a mobile lifting hoist for you.  

The kitchen worktop can be adjusted in height and has space underneath to accommodate for your wheelchair.

Information concerning rent and costs:


Our holiday home is normally for rent for a period of one week minimum. Check-in is on Saturdays from 4 pm onwards and check-out is on Saturdays before 10 am. Contact us if you would like to discuss the options of a shorter stay or another check-in our check-out day.

Price:

high season 2022 (July 2nd to August 27th and December 24th to Januari 7th) €850,- per week
mid season 2022 (April 2nd to July 2nd and August 27th to October 15th) €750,- per week
low season 2022 (January 8th to April 2nd and  October 15th to December 24th) €475,- per week

Added costs:

deposit €200,- per booking
tourist tax: variable (depending on number of guests, length of stay and rental price)
dog: €25,- per week
set bed- en badlinen: €10,- per guest
cleaning fee (obligatory) €70,-
rent of mobile lifting hoist: €25,- per week

General conditions
